Welcome to Thadu Consulting Corporation

Chad Norman Day is a widely respected and renowned Indigenous and Mining Industry leader from the Tahltan Nation, located in Northwest British Columbia. The Tahltan culture and people have been heavily rooted in mining activities and business partnerships beginning thousands of years ago when they began to mine obsidian to create tools, weapons and trading goods.

While acting as the President of the Tahltan Central Government (2014 to 2024) he achieved unprecedented economic growth and success through creating empowering partnerships and agreements with the Province of British Columbia, Mining Industry, Clean Energy Industry and others.

His collaborative efforts resulted in billions of dollars of economic activity on an annual basis flowing through several major projects, including the Red Chris mine, Brucejack mine and Silvertip mine. Under President Day the Tahltan Nation became partial owners in multiple industrial companies and projects, including a 5% stake in the Northwest Hydroelectric Facilities (valued at over $1.3 billion). The hydro power projects provide clean energy to the active mines which create significant revenues for Tahltan workers, communities, governments and their economic, health, and investment entities.

President Day methodically created and staffed dedicated departments under the Tahltan Central Government, resulting in the ability to support historical growth in economic activity within the Tahltan Nation and providing a strong basis for future growth. The Tahltan Nation’s collective history, understanding and robust involvement within the Mining Industry has resulted in them becoming one of the most advanced Indigenous mining peoples in the world.

Chad Norman Day is sought after as an advisor, thought leader and motivational speaker to bring together and to help inspire and assist industrial companies, investors, governments and Indigenous peoples throughout the world. He earned a BA in Political Science and Native Studies and a Juris Doctorate in Law.
